BRUSANO is a bi-community structure for the coordination and support of primary care professionals in the Brussels region. This non-profit organisation aims to strengthen the position of the patient in the health care system, the primary care services and the territorial organisation of (home) care through information, meetings, training and support for clinical work.
BRUSANO integrates the expertise of the Integrated Home Care Services (GDT Brussels and Conectar), the Local Multidisciplinary Network Brussels (RML-B) and the Brussels palliative care platform (Palliabru) in order to better meet the specific health issues for the Brussels-Capital Region.
The organisation focuses on 4 core areas: chronic diseases, addictions and dependencies, mental disorders, palliative care and loss of independence.
BRUSANO gathers years of experience in elderly care and more specifically on (health)care innovation. Brusano provides support in the development ,implementation ,choice and use of health applications and other digital solutions on the market for patients and healthcare providers.
Both within its framework of activities and for future developments, BRUSANO cooperates closely with all actors in the health and social sector and decision makers.
